Do I need to download an app?
You'll need a free UVC-compatible viewer app. We recommend "CameraFi" on Android and "PowerCam" on iOS. Both are free in the app store.
Is the cable really waterproof?
The camera tip and entire 16.4ft cable are IP67-rated, safe for full submersion in water, oil, or coolant. The phone connector itself should not be submerged.
